Final Fantasy IV

More than 15 years ago, Square Co. shocked the world with his masterpiece Final Fantasy II (which is actually the fourth game of the series, but only the second released in North Americas). For the first time, the console role-players were not given some generic hero and accused of stopping the evil wizard and save the world; place, which were presented to a wide variety of realistic characters who struggled with complex issues of adults like love, hatred, honor, duty, betrayal and redemption. However, this epic saga has been completely Remade in 3D on the DS, and if Cecil, Kain, and Rosa is faced with new or old friends, this is an adventure that you should not miss. Continue reading »
Arkanoid DS

In the beginning there was Pong. Then there was Breakout, and 10 years later there was Arkanoid. Taito of the bat and ball to break the block first appeared in arcades more than 20 years ago, and in the years since that has adorned many home computers and consoles. Arkanoid DS, which comes to americas and Northern Europe, the less control palette that will be combined with those of Japan last year, introduces a handful of new features to the mix of Arkanoid, but fortunately does not do anything that is detrimental to the classic gameplay. Multiplayer options, the new power-ups, unlocked audio and visual options, and the goal based on how Quest do Arkanoid DS easy to recommend. The lack of a palette (which can be imported one) is disappointing and the D-pad option is best avoided, but the stylus works well. Continue reading »
